Centrepoint Lyrics

I recently went to Centrepoint Tower (it's like the space needle in Seattle), and to go to the top you had to either pay $13 to go to the observation deck, or go to the rotating bar at the top and spend $20 on a drink. We went with the bar. It was one of the last nights my flatmate (what up Jim) would be in Sydney, so we went to celebrate. The views were absolutely amazing as the sun was going down. As we spun around you could see the whole city for miles, and then on one side is the ocean with the moon hitting the water....BEAUTIFUL! I was inspired while i was up there taking in the views, and i penned this little poem/song.
CENTREPOINT
Sitting on top of the city, while the sun is going down, with a friend of ours, me and you
I bought a $20 drink just so we could see, the world from another point of view
I see the ocean in the distance, it goes on for miles, wave on wave on wave
I can’t believe I’m really here, I came so many miles, for the memories we’ve made
And there’s so much more to come, there’s so much more

Hold on cause it’s coming fast, forget everything you know
These times will come and pass, so it’s time to let yourself go

I miss my family, I wish they could see, what’s right in front of me
The city down below, the stars are up above, the moonlight shining on the sea
If I could stop the world, I’d take everyone I know, and make them sit right where I am
If they could see this sight, if they could soak it in, then they could understand
There’s so much more to life, there’s so much more
Hold on cause it’s coming fast, forget everything you know
These times will come and pass, so it’s time to let yourself go

(Centrepoint Tower)

(Jim, Novey, and Me)

($60 worth of drinks)

Just something i thought I'd share with you guys. Hope you enjoy.
